With some of Nottinghamshire’s best up and coming boxers on the card, it’s no surprise that tickets are selling fast for The REAL Prospects in Bingham next month.
Promoted by Scott Calow working alongside Dean Sugden of Suggy’s Gym, the show takes place on Saturday 18 May at Bingham Leisure Centre, with Nottingham’s Nathan Kirk and Derby’s Sajid Abid leading the charge in the two headline bouts.
“We’ll be announcing Sajid’s opponent shortly,” said Scott. “But he’s a classy Welterweight with an unbeaten record in his eight outings so this is going to be one of the highlights of the evening.
“And the same goes for Nathan’s Lightweight rematch with Dean Evans, which will be all about Repeat or Revenge? after he was stopped by Dean last time out.
“Also in the mix is the unbeaten hard hitter Sebastian Slusarczyk. Anyone who follows Nottinghamshire boxing will be relishing this opportunity to see him in action ahead of his contest for the vacant Midlands Light Heavyweight title with Suggy’s Gym professional Chad Sugden at Harvey Hadden Stadium on Saturday 6 July.”
Completing the line-up of local boxers are Super Welterweight Ryan Amos, Super Lightweight Paul Thompson, Lightweight Delmar Thomas, Middleweight Sam Spooner, who will be making his pro debut, and Welterweight Regis Sugden, who will be moving up a gear in his second pro bout to go six rounds with southpaw MJ Hall from Brierley Hill.
“Full details of all the home boxers’ opponents will be available soon but there’s no doubt this is going to be another evening where no hype’s required,” added Scott.
Doors at The Banks open at 6pm, with the first bell at 7.15pm, and a fully licensed bar and hot food will be available throughout the evening.
Tickets, priced £40 for standard unreserved seating and £55 for VIP Ringside with VIP bar, are on sale from individual boxers or via the hotline 01636 605708/07816 840920.
