Dylan makes it 4-0 after tough contest in Worksop

Fighting Fit Gym’s Dylan Clegg retained his unbeaten pro record on Saturday 22 June when his fourth bout ended in a win over the experienced Raimonds Sniedze.

Appearing on the card of THE FUTURE at Worksop’s North Notts Arena, the Dinnington-based Super Middleweight outboxed his opponent to win the first two rounds. Having picked up a hand injury, he had a difficult third round with Raimonds coming on strong but, thanks to his better boxing, took the final round and the decision.

Speaking to Jack Fletcher after the fight, Dylan said: “It was a tough fight but I did what I had to do.

“Tonight was a bit of a learning curve but that’s the game, isn’t it? You can’t expect everything to go the way you want it to go.

“I’m happy with everything that happened – apart from my hand!”

His manager Scott Calow commented: “Dylan proved he’s got a good chin and the determination needed to get through a hard fight.”
