Four weeks to the day after the last Boxing Connected show attracted a full house to the Harvey Hadden Stadium in Nottingham, there was another sell-out Fight Night on Saturday 6 November, this time at Maidstone Leisure Centre in Kent.
Boxing fans were treated to a great evening which brought together experienced boxers and debutants in seven fights across a range of categories, from Featherweight to Heavyweight.
Highlights of the show included a great top of the bill bout featuring Martin Hillman who defeated the Ghanaian Raymond Commey, and another great fight from Dave Jones who was back to winning ways after a massive fight with Daniel Dubois to achieve victory in a hard contest against Phil Williams.
Speaking after the show, promoter Scott Calow said: “We’re already looking ahead to the next fight night in Kent, with Joe Elfidh making plans for another show in February or March 2022, and in the meantime things are well under way for more of the same this year too.
“First up we’ll be back at the North Notts Arena on Saturday 20 November for another Worksop Fight Night, then we’ll be rounding off 2021 in style with Xmas Box At The Circus in Purfleet down in Essex on Saturday 11 December.”
