Fighters and fans get set for an action-packed September

There’s plenty of action on the cards for boxing fans to enjoy next month, when a total of nine local professionals representing Scott Calow Boxing take to the ring on two shows;

Up first, DJ Tollerton will now be taking part in All Of The Lights, an eight man Lightweight tournament at Planet Ice in Solihull on Saturday 9 September..

“If all goes to plan, I’ll be fighting three times on the same night,” said the Lincoln-based fighter known to his supporters as The Body Snatcher. “My aim is to make this night my own – I couldn’t ask for a better set up with my style and I’ll be there to make a statement and show everyone how good I really am!

“Tickets for the show, which also includes a contest for the vacant Midlands Area Lightweight Title, are available now at £65 Ringside and £40 Standard – to book yours, just message me on Facebook here.”

Three weeks later, on Saturday 30 September, the latest Scott Calow Promotions Fight Night comes to Nottingham.

“This will be our first Fight Night at Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford and supporters can expect plenty of action and excitement, with the doors opening at 6pm and the first bell at 7pm,” said Scott.

Midlands Area champion Ryan Amos returns to the ring after his recent televised outing and Jack Smith will be looking to continue the impressive start to his pro career.

“Decorated amateur Jack Dillingham will be making his pro debut on the night, as will Marcus Creed, and Joe Hughes, whose fight in April was broadcast live on Sky TV, will be fighting in Nottingham for the first time since October 2021.

“There’ll be another pro debut for Heavyweight boxer Craig Nelson, Suggy’s Gym‘s Jade Grierson will be hoping to go 2-0 and, rounding off a fantastic show, fans can enjoy a great local derby when Taylor Greig takes on Jack Mantell.

“Tickets for the show, priced £50 each, are available now from all of the boxers taking part and full details of the card will be published nearer the night, both here on the website and on our social media feeds.

“And make sure you keep an eye out for more great news coming soon, when we’ll be sharing information about Jamie Robinson’s return to action in London this October and an announcement about my other managed fighters in the next couple of weeks.”
